The caveats (no photorealism, latency) suggest the October Genie 3 research demo quality hasn’t fully transferred to the interactive consumer product yet.

The remixing model is the social layer. Users exploring and remixing others’ created worlds introduces a social/creative dimension that pure generation doesn’t have. If Genie worlds become shareable artifacts (like Minecraft maps), that’s a retention mechanic with long-term potential.
