Summary

Google Wallet expanded digital identity support in two directions: India now supports Aadhaar Verifiable Credentials stored on-device, with initial partners spanning entertainment, matrimony, visa applications, and gig economy verification; and passport-based ID Pass rolled out to Singapore, Taiwan, and Brazil for in-person and online age/identity checks. Implications
