Poolside enters the coding agent space. Two models: Laguna XS.2 (33B/3B active MoE, Apache 2.0, 68.2% SWE-Bench Verified, 256 experts) and Laguna M.1 (proprietary, 72.5% SWE-Bench Verified). Two products: pool (terminal-based coding agent) and Shimmer (cloud dev experience). XS.2 runs on a single GPU at 3B active parameters. First open-weight model architecturally designed for agentic coding. The coding CLI agent space now has six entrants.
